Alison has been part of One Love One Dream Bridal since the very beginning in 2014, working with all of our clientele, maintaining our website and social media pages.
She proudly took over ownership in 2022, following in her mother’s footsteps. With a calm and caring presence, Alison is known for her patience, her attentive ear, and her passion for helping each customer feel confident and radiant. Whether it’s finding the dream dress or the perfect accessory, she loves bringing every bride’s vision to life.
Beyond the boutique, Alison is a flautist with a deep love for musical theatre—and a lifelong Disney fan (she even got married at Disney’s iconic Wedding Pavilion!).
She brings creativity, warmth, and heart to everything she does.

Shelly is our Assistant Manager.
She has been an essential part of One Love One Dream Bridal for over six years.
She brings warmth, wisdom, and a calming presence to every appointment. Known for her honesty and gentle approach, Shelly is never pushy- she believes that a bride should say YES with her whole heart, not just “I think so”
Shelly loves the incredible team she works with and cherishes every opportunity to connect with the brides and families who walk through our doors.
When she’s not working, her world revolves around her two adult children and her partner, Tim. She also enjoys time away at the trailer, but you better make sure there isn’t any Bon Jovi music playing!

She’s a proud mom of two amazing adult children and a devoted dog lover. While Suzette works exclusively on weekends, she makes every moment count, offering our brides genuine support and heartfelt advicce during their special journey.

Kirsten is the newest member of our team.
She has years of customer service experience. She recently graduated from the event planning program at Durham College in 2025 and is also a certified wedding planner.
Aside from the event industry, she enjoys singing, makeup, fashion, interior decorating, and spending time with her loved ones, including her 2 energetic dogs.

Remembering our founder, Janet
Janet’s dream was to always open a bridal and formal wear store. That dream came true in 2014, On November 14th we opened our doors to the public. Janet had been married to her husband, Greg, for over 25 years at the time of opening (one love).
In October 2021 Janet was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, unfortunately, it had spread to her Liver, and chemotherapy didn’t help. She fought hard and was such a strong woman up until the end. She was still coming into the store during her treatments, training Alison for the future as she had not had experience with more of the business side of things.
On August 12th, 2022 Janet took her last breath here on earth.
Her wings were ready, but our hearts certainly were not.
Janet, you were an amazing businesswoman and inspired so many people’s lives. We all miss you and love you so much. We will always remember your joyous laugh and wonderful smile.
