Make sure you know these numbers before you start calling limo companies.

  • How many hours do you need it for?
  • How far are you going?
  • How many different locations will you need the limo for?
  • How many people are going in a limo? How many do you want per limo?

Get the right vehicle

Sometimes renting a stretch limo may not be the right option. You have to think about what you really want for your big day.

Do you want to arrive in style in a classic antique? Or get the maximum amount of people in the vehicle with a stretch limo?

Some companies provide music, so ask in advance if you could bring a CD or your Ipod to play some of your favourite tunes.

Get the whole price

Always make sure you are checking prices between the different companies you ask for quotes from. Some companies may charge extra for certain things, where as some of the other companies you check with include everything. Be sure to read over all the fine details before you commit and sign the contract, especially if you are looking for the best value for your money.

Most companies will probably have packages for weddings that will generally provide a set number of hours, in a vehicle that fits your party size for a fixed all-inclusive price.

Reserve early!

Start searching for your limo company 6-12 months in advance. After you have selected the right limo company for you get confirmation in writing for your wedding date and times requested. It is a good idea to contact your limo company a month before the event just to ensure everything is confirmed.

Check for safety

The most important thing to consider when booking a limo is safety for yourself and your party. Limo companies need to be registered with their municipal and provincial, and have the proper levels of insurance. Never book with a limo company that can’t promptly show you their licensing and insurance credentials.
